These days, most flagships have ‘mini’ versions. The Samsung Galaxy S4’s mini version is the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The HTC One’s mini version is the HTC One Mini. The Sony XPERIA Z1’s mini version is the Sony XPERIA Z1 Compact. Now, we’re hearing the LG G2 will have a mini version as well. A user agent profile has revealed that the LG G2 Mini will sport an 8-megapixel camera and run Android 4.4 (KitKat).
PhoneArena has gotten its hands on two user agent profiles via its anonymous tipster. The site reports, “Thanks to one of our loyal readers, we now know quite a bit about the rear facing camera on the LG G2 mini. A User Agent profile he sent us reveals that the camera will be 8MP and will offer four different resolutions: 1280 x 960, 2560 x 1920, 3200 x 1920 and 3264 x 2448. We are also told that the device will be running Android 4.4 right out of the box. A second UAProf reveals two model numbers for the device. The LG D618 and the LG D620 will be two different variants of the bite-sized version of the Korean OEM’s Android flagship phone.”
Here are the two user agent profiles:
Unfortunately, these are all the details the user agent profiles have revealed. We’re hoping the LG G2 Mini isn’t anything like the disappointing Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini and more like the powerful Sony XPERIA Z1 Compact.
