German-speaking All About Samsung reports that the Korean tech giant has given a €500 (around £393) to the 1 millionth buyer of the Galaxy S5, its current flagship.
Aside from selling the 1 millionth unit of the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Germany, this means that Samsung is coming close to its goal of selling 35 million units of the S5 worldwide. During the first 25 days of the smartphone’s launch, 10 million units have already been shipped.
We are yet to hear of the specific amount of S5s sold per country, but at the rate Samsung is going it is sure to hit the 35 million mark before the end of the year.
