LG teases Optimus G2 in invite – to be launched on the 7th of August
LG has teased the successor of the Optimus G, the Optimus G2, in its invite sent to press. It also looks like we’ll be seeing the upcoming smartphone on the 7th of August.
Unfortunately, the invite doesn’t show what the handset will ultimately look like. However, it does hint that the Optimus G2 is coming. The invite reads, “Great 2 have you!” See what they did there. The invite also says that the event will be taking place in New York on the 7th of August.
According to previous reports, the Optimus G2 will sport a 5.5-inch full HD edge-to-edge screen, a 13-megapixel camera, and a 2.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM under the hood. It will run Jelly Bean.
