The new LG V10 has just made its official debut, and, as soon as the phablet was unveiled, the South Korean smartphone maker released the device’s first promotional video.

The LG V10’s first promotional video shows off the phablet’s key features. It also shows how the device can be premium and fashionable. It looks like LG has invented a new word “groufie,” which simply means group selfie. This is possible thanks to the phablet’s dual wide-angle front-facing cameras. Going back to word “groufie,” don’t be surprised if the word gets included in the dictionary just like the recently added “selfie.”

Now let’s go back to the promotional video. It reveals a few unique features such as three directional microphones; an interface that can calibrate audio; high-quality 32-bit Hi-Fi digital to analog, and auto-editing for videos recorded by the camera. Lastly, optical image stabilisation on board the camera is featured, which looks pretty impressive. We, however, will have to test the LG V10’s camera to see if it lives up to all the hype or not.

Here’s the video:

To recap, the LG V10 sports a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). This works out to a pixel density of 513 ppi. The second 2.1-inch screen has a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. This works out to a pixel density of 513 ppi. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor with an Adreno 418 GPU, coupled with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM can be found under the hood. The device comes with 64 GB of internal storage. For more storage options, the V10 comes with a microSD card slot (as much as 2 TB). In the photography department, the device rocks a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS 2.0 and dual 5-megapixel front-facing camera that allow users to snap a 120 degree wide angle selfie. This is why the device can snap “groufies.” It also supports 4G LTE-A (Cat.6), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and USB 2.0. It comes with a 3,000 mAh removable battery to keep the lights on. The LG V10 runs Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. It measures 8.6 mm-thick and weighs in at 192 g.

It is yet to be announced if the LG V10 will be available in Europe.
