Acer has brought out a new phone by the name of the neoTouch F1. This is a new Acer phone which has style and ingenuity throughout. The Acer F1’s large screen, looks and functional layout ensures it is seen as a serious competitor to many PDA style smart phones such as the HTC HD2 and Samsung Omnia2. It is quick as well, by virtue of the Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD62 1 GHz processor, which is one of the fastest processors available in a phone.

The Acer neoTouch F1’s 3.8 inch TFT resistive touch screen displays 65,000 colours at a pixel size of 480 x 800 pixels. The F1 uses its Acer user interface, version 3.0 to provide navigation around the phones functions. Additional features include an accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors. These provide the means to alter the aspect of images, save battery power and automatically adjust the screen brightness according to the light around the handset.
