The Samsung Galaxy S range of smartphone devices have consistently sold well over the past three years and thanks to this hopes are high for the coming months with the release of the Samsung Galaxy S4. Samsung are hoping that this handset continues to rack up impressive sales and they are also looking for a boost in their Tablet trade to help cement their position as the number one manufacturer in the world.
Over the coming months we are set to see Samsung launch an aggressive campaign to ensure that their new Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone and their range of tablet devices reach as many people across the globe as possible. Before the end of the year the Korean giants are hoping that their new flagship smartphone will ship a massive 40 million units according to one company executive. In 2012 we saw both the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 released and both of these models achieved record sales for the company and this is why hopes are high for the new generation model. In addition to strong S4 sales the company are also hoping for an up turn in their tablet business. They currently offer a great range of devices but sales have failed to match what their smartphone counterparts have been registering.
During 2013 Samsung are hoping to double the number of tablet devices they sell across the globe. They hope to achieve this by a combination of aggressive marketing and the launch of some exciting new models. We have already seen one such model announced in the last week which is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, a miniature tablet targeting the Nexus 7, iPad Mini area of the market. Of course the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the handset that is likely to generate the most business for the company. this new phone is set to be unveiled on March the 14th and is rumoured to offer some awesome specification including a 1080P 4.99 inch display and an Octa core processor.
2013 is set to be a great year for Samsung and the new Samsung Galaxy S4 and their range of great tablets will account for a large chunk of the business that they register in this period.
