HTC’s new One handset is one in a million. With a gorgeous aluminium body, a live homescreen that puts social updates and breaking news right where you want them and camera features that redefine smartphone photography, the HTC One offers a mobile experience like no other.

Want a phone that keeps you loop? You’re in the right place. The One lets you set up your homescreen to constantly update with the information that most interests you. Whether that’s how your favourite sports team is getting on, up-to-the-minute news headlines or Tweets and Facebook posts from your nearest on dearest, this is a handset that lets you stay in the loop at a glance.

And that isn’t the only thing that keeps you in the picture. The HTC One debuts an amazing super-sensitive Ultrapixel camera that captures 300 per cent more light than rivals for brilliant results whatever the conditions. Whether it’s clarity, contrast or detail, you’ll get more of it with the HTC One.

But that’s just part of what makes this a great camera phone. Every time you press the shutter, the One takes up to 20 photos and a three-second video, which it then displays in a living, breathing gallery that turns your life into an impressionistic mini movie. It even adds Instagram filters and a soundtrack.

Which brings to the One’s amazing media credentials. Dual frontal stereo speakers and built-in amplifiers mean it delivers a rich, full sound that’s unrecognisable from the tinny, distorted you get with most smartphones.

Thanks to Sense TV, it even doubles as a remote control for your TV. This lets you flick through TV channels, access program guides and adjust the volume all without reaching for one of the many remotes that clog up modern living rooms.

Because the HTC One is Android phone and is powered by the latest Jelly Bean version, it’s great for apps too. At the Google Now store, you’ll be able to choose from hundreds of thousands of games and applications, many of which are completely free to download.

Other features of the One include Sense Voice which detects loud noise and dynamically boosts the in-call volume to ensure you never miss a word, a 4.7-inch, Full HD 1080p, 468 PPI touchscreen, 32GB of storage, a secondary 2.1 megapixel camera with HD video recording for video calls and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, quad-core, 1.7GHz processor.

Tired of remotes taking up valuable couch space? The new HTC One is ready to help you channel surf. With Sense TV, all it takes is a few simple steps and you’ll be able to select TV channels, access program guides, adjust audio and more with your HTC One. Find your favorite shows, and it will notify you when they’re on. Take control of your TV experience with your phone.
