Over the coming weeks we are expecting to see a major event hosted by Samsung where they will officially unveil the Samsung Galaxy S4, the new flagship smartphone in their product range. New reports have emerged that suggest that the S4 may not be the only model unveiled at this event and that two other new products are in line to also be introduced to the public.
The launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S4 is without question one of the major phone events of the year and the news of a potential two new products being lined up for a launch with this model has made the event even bigger than first expected. There has been no confirmation on this latest news but it has been suggested that another mobile handset and a new wrist watch are the products set to also be introduced. The phone is rumoured to be the Galaxy S4 Mini. Last year the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini proved a huge success with consumers wanting a more compact handset so a similar version of the S4 is no surprise. The watch idea however is more intriguing and the device will enable consumers to perform a number of tasks such as answering calls and checking messages without physically touching their handset.
This latest news has emerged from SamMobile who are said to have details of an event named Project J, the rumoured code name for the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch. They report that Project J is said to feature three devices which are believed to be the products that we have mentioned above. Over the past few months we have heard a number of reports that suggest Samsung are developing a new watch device so news of this three product launch seems very realisitic. The fact that Samsung’s main rivals Apple are also said to be developing a watch of their own to be released with the iPhone 5S also makes us believe that this piece of news may be more substantial than many of the more unrealistic rumours that we encounter.
