Nokia May Launch The EOS Under A Different Name

imagesOne of the most talked about smartphone models currently on the market continues to be the Nokia Lumia 920. The device quickly shot to fame after becoming a huge commercial success after its launch back in November 2012, whilst also gaining widespread critical acclaim and rave reviews.

It appears that Nokia is planning to launch a successor to its flagship Windows Phone 8 Lumia device, which may be set to launch in the near future. A device called the Nokia EOS has recently been appearing online, and looks to be very exciting device. One of the standout features of the handset is rumoured to be Nokia’s PureView camera technology, which was utilised on the Nokia PureView 808. This handset which was released back in 2012 is widely regarded as one the best camera phones ever on account of its PureView camera technology which incorporates a 41 megapixel sensor for outstanding image quality

Incorporating such camera technology on the successor to the Lumia 920 is of course a very exciting prospect for smartphone enthusiasts. Nokia has scheduled a press release to take place on the first day of MWC 2013 which kicks off in Barcelona on the 25th of February. It is widely assumed that Nokia will use this event to unveil its newest flagship Lumia device. GSM Arena has also recently reported that a device called the Nokia Lumia 1000 has appeared on the website of China Mobile, the biggest network operator in China. This has led to speculation that the Nokia EOS may go by this name when launched, with the EOS name simply being a codename for the device used by Nokia during its development.
