It looks as though HTC have a superb range of smartphones lined up for release in 2013 and one of the most eye catching is without doubt the new HTC Butterfly. This model has already been launched in a number of markets although many of us are still waiting for the handset to arrive. China is one country where the model has been released and HTC have just released a new accessory for the phone in this region.
The new HTC Mini is a remote control device designed to work with the excellent new HTC Butterfly smartphone. The device boasts both Bluetooth and NFC connectivity and enables users of the phone to perform a number of tasks without physically touching the phone. The main use of the new Mini will be to allow users to make and receive calls via the Mini. This task can be performed thanks to a Bluetooth connection being established between the two devices. When the Mini is coupled with the phone via NFC it also acts as a media server for the phone which allows a host of tasks to be performed. These include checking messages, reading calendar entries and viewing call logs for the phone.
The new HTC Mini certainly looks like a superb accessory for the new HTC Butterfly and along with the more common tasks that we have mentioned the device is also capable of performing some more specialist functions. The Butterfly is ideal for connecting to a compatible television thanks to the wide range of material it can hold and the Mini acts as a remote that means users can easily navigate menus from the comfort of their armchair. Camera fans will appreciate the fact that the device can also trigger the shutter of the camera facility which means a more varied selection of images can be snapped. Another super aspect of the HTC Mini is the built in phone tracker which is perfect for helping users to locate a misplaced handset.
We are hoping to see the new HTC Butterfly arrive in the UK very soon along with the new HTC Deluxe and expect that once the phone is given a release it will not be long until the new HTC Mini is made available.
