The Blackberry Z10 which was officially announced just yesterday has now been released on the Orange network with contract deals starting from just £20.50 line rental and a free phone already available from £36 per month.
Orange are the first network to release their pay monthly contract offers for the new Blackberry Z10 but both T-Mobile and 4G EE deals will be available later today.
Launched at a special event yesterday, the new Z10 was unveiled alongside the new qwerty keyboard sporting Blackberry Q10, a move that not many saw coming but is great news for those die-hard fans of the Blackberry physical keyboard.
The Z10 is a full touch screen phone and offers a 4.2 inch 768 x 1280 pixel display with 356PPI, an 8 mega pixel camera plus a 2 mega pixel front facing lens, it is run by a dual-core 1.5GHz chip with 2GB of RAM and features NFC technology as well as 4G compatibility for super-fast connection speeds.
The biggest enhancement over previous models like the Blackberry Bold 9900 is the operating system, the new Blackberry 10 OS is a complete rework and includes some great new features including Blackberry Hub, this pulls together all forms of social engagement as well as contacts, photos and schedules to give a complete picture of friends and colleagues.
One of the biggest draws of a Blackberry phone is the messenger service and this has now been further enhanced with video calling as well as a new feature which allow you to share you screen with the caller, this is a very useful addition when wanting to share information like documents and photos as well as demonstrate apps to friends or show off your high score.
The Blackberry Z10 is available in both black and white colour schemes whilst the Blackberry Q10 white and black models have yet to be given contract deals in the UK.
