HTC M7 Launch Even Rumoured To Take Place In London In March

htc-m7-render1Recently, rumours about the HTC M7 have really begun to pick up. The upcoming flagship device from the Taiwanese manufacturer is set to be one of the most exciting smartphone launches in recent months, so there are plenty of rumours about potential features of the phone circulating around the internet.

Last week, images of the device along with information about its features were leaked on the internet. The device is set to pack an 8 megapixel camera, Beats Audio integration, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, Android Jellybean OS and the latest instalment of the HTC Sense UI. The phone will also have an aluminium unibody design.

Because the features of the HTC M7 are now in the public eye, rumours about the phone are now beginning to concentrate on when we can expect to see HTC officially unveil the phone, and when it will hit the market.

Mobile World Congress, or MWC takes place every February in Barcelona. At last year’s event, HTC unveiled its One X flagship device, so this has led many people to believe that the HTC M7 will debut at this year’s event. Visit us at PhonesLimited to compare the best deals on the HTC One X and HTC Butterfly special offers when the phone has been released.

However, a number of sources have suggested that this will not be the case. According to an article over at Phones Review, a source has revealed on Twitter that an HTC M7 launch event will take place on February 19th in London. Although the source is far from official, it would certainly make sense if this information is accurate.

HTC will obviously be very keen to get the HTC M7 on the market before the Samsung Galaxy S4 is launched as the device is likely to go on to dominate the market in a similar fashion to the current Galaxy S3 model. Furthermore, by holding a separate launch event for the device, all attention will be focused on the HTC M7 as there will be no phones from competing manufacturers to take attention away from the Taiwanese manufacturer’s new flagship device, as would be the case if it was unveiled at MWC.

If we hear of any more information about the launch of the HTC M7, we will of course keep you updated.
