Many people may have been disappointed that Samsung did not unveil any new smartphone models at the recent CES 2013 exhibition but the manufacturer did announce some new processing technology which has fueled rumours surrounding there next big phone release, the Samsung Galaxy S4.galaxy s4

Despite the Korean company making no announcement regarding new handsets at the Consumer Electronics Show which was recently held in Las Vegas the Samsung did impress with the unveiling of its new Exynos 5 Octa processing chip with many reports suggesting that this new CPU is set to be included on the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. Exynos chips are currently regarded as the very best mobile processors and this new chip raises the bar in terms of performance thanks to the inclusion of eight cores. This will allow the chip to deliver faster performance times than ever before while also helping it to handle multi tasking more efficiently. Modern premium phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Sony Xperia Z feature quad core chips so this new introduction represents a huge jump in technology and this is sure to be highlighted in much of the marketing that will surround the S4.

This is the latest in a long line of rumours that have emerged relating to the Samsung Galaxy S4. Many of the other reports about the phone that we have been hearing focus on the screen technology that the model will use which is also set to be an improvement on previous models. The phone is in line to feature the first 1080P display panel that Samsung have ever released on a mobile device. This will allow the handset to display images and video in what is known as Full HD quality. This jump in resolution will also allow Samsung to once again increase the size of the screen without a drop in quality. A 5 inch screen is set to debut on the model, the same size display as has been announced on new models from other companies such as HTC and Sony.

It looks as though the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be released in May and it looks as though the model will be sporting an impressive new processor along with the bigger and better screen that we are expecting to see
