As we prepare to say goodbye to 2012 and welcome 2013 we are seeing an increased amount of speculation surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S4, the next generation flagship device from the Korean manufacturers. New reports have emerged giving us a little more idea about what we can expect to see on this exciting new phone.
According to latest reports that have surfaced on the internet we are likely to see the new Samsung Galaxy S4 arrive in April 2013 which comes as no great surprise as it is around the same time as we saw the previous two generations of the phone released. What does come as a bit more of a surprise however is the fact that this new phone looks set to come supplied with the S Pen, the interactive stylus we have seen on other handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. As phone screen sizes increase the benefits of a stylus pen are more obvious and with the new Galaxy S4 set to include a 5 inch display the S Pen would be a welcome addition to the array of features that the handset will offer.
Samsung look set to include the S Pen on the Samsung Galaxy S4 as the model will use a new display measuring 5 inches in size, slightly larger than this years best selling Samsung Galaxy S3 handset. Not only is the screen size on this phone being boosted but the screen is also rumoured to use the very latest technology in the form of OLED, a wafer thin and flexible display that should prove much more durable then the LCD and AMOLED screens that we have become accustomed to. It is not only the screen technology that looks set to impress on this model. Reports suggest that the chipset will be the powerful Exynos 5440 set up. It is rumoured that this will include ARM Big Little architecture that will include two energy efficient A7 cores with another two more powerful A15 cores on hand to deal with more demanding tasks.
It looks as though the Samsung Galaxy S4 will definitely arrive during the second quarter of 2013 and that the phone will be armed with some great new features including the excellent S Pen stylus.
And Apple will not be able to sue S4 because S4 does not have a “home” button on it.
Samsung will be able to sue Apple if Apple makes a device which uses “interactive / smart pen”
Nokia will bite their tongue / fingers
Blackberry will kick the bucket
Others will either sell their company to Samsung or Apple
Rightly said. I agree with your comments. Its time Apple started behaving wisely and stop bullying others. And it is also time Apple stops being jealous, realizes that others can bring out great innovative products with Samsung leading the charge (unless of-course Google brings out a great smartphone teaming up with Motorola). It is time Apple threatens others with THERMONUCLEAR and other kind of wars. And by the way let me say I am not a Samsung fan.
All of this sounds great but at what price. I’m not a big fan of Apple
but if the S4 is not priced right t I can get an Apple for $199 maybe less
