Over the last few months we have seen the introduction of different colour variations of the popular Samsung Galaxy S3 handset and it looks as though the Korean manufacturers are set to unveil similar schemes for their popular Samsung Galaxy Note 2 handset. Over the last weeks we have seen images pop up on line that reportedly show a new black version of this excellent device.
Ever since the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was launched consumers have had the choice of two attractive colour options on the phone. These choices are the grey blue finish that Samsung are tending to release all premium phones in and the obligatory white version. It looks as though a third version is set to be released and this will be in a striking black finish. Images of this new colour on the N7100 device have appeared over the last few days and first impressions are very good. The stealthy colour certainly seems to work well on the undeniably large handset and it does have the effect of making the phone appear smaller than it actually is. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will also introduce the Red version as they have done with the popular Samsung Galaxy S3 model.
Ever since the original Galaxy Note device was launched towards the end of 2011 this range of smartphones has proved a somewhat unexpected success story. To begin with the large 5.3 inch display on the original model was criticised for being to large but consumers still flocked to get their hands on the device. This in turn led to the release of this years Samsung Galaxy Note 2 complete with an even larger 5.5 in Super AMOLED display. Samsung have also boosted the processing power on this model to an impressive quad core chipset. And 2013 looks likely to see the introduction of the third generation Galaxy Note device complete with a seven inch screen in order to compete with the popular iPad Mini which has recently been released by Apple.
We expect to see the black version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 arrive in the early part of 2013 while the new 7 inch variant is likely to appear some time over the summer months.
