Nokia Lumia 620 Now Available For Pre-Order To UK Customers

Nokia-Lumia-620-price-indiaLast week Nokia announced a new smartphone model to join its Windows Phone 8 powered Lumia line up.

The Lumia 620 is the entry level offering, joining its popular Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 counterparts which are the flagship and mid range handsets respectively.

Of course, being an entry level phone means that the Lumia 620 is much more affordable than its higher end counterparts, but it still packs a surprisingly impressive spec list. Like the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 models, the phone comes with the latest version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system. Other key features of the device include 8 GB internal storage, 1 GHz single-core processor, 5 megapixel camera and it also sports a 3.8 inch Nokia ClearBlack display. If you owned an older Nokia mobile phone model around 10 years ago, you may remember that some featured interchangeable covers with various colours and designs to choose from. This feature has made a reappearance of the Lumia 620, so combined with its cheap price tag it is likely to be of particular appeal to the youth market especially given the high prices of flagship phones like the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.

Although the Lumia 620 was only officially announced by Nokia last week, customers in the UK are already able to pre-order the phone from a number of online retailers. Those who decide to purchase a SIM free handset can expect to pay around £175, although it will of course be reduced further or even free if you decide to take out pay monthly contract for the phone.

With the flagship Lumia 920 and mid range Lumia 820 models already selling well, the Lumia 620 looks like it will be a popular choice, and ensures that Nokia has all price points covered. Once the phone has been launched during Q1 next year, we will keep you updated with its progress.
