The impressive new iPhone 5 has only been on the market for a couple of weeks and we are now starting to hear rumors that the next generation is being worked on by Apple manufacturers.
Despite it still being early days for the iPhone 5 we are starting to hear rumors that work is beginning on the iPhone 5S. It is believed that work will begin in December to ensure that any problems that may arise will be ironed out by the time it comes to launch the device. The main information we are getting is with regards to the processing power that the next generation will offer. Reports suggest that it will sport a next generation 64 Bit A7 processor. The only problem we can see with the addition of this processor is that if Apple are hoping to launch their new device in the first half of 2013 it is unlikely that it will be fully developed in time, however if the 5S is launched in the second half of the year then this will give the manufacturers enough time to finish their latest chip and include it.
Only time will tell when we will be able to get our hands on the new iPhone, but it seems likely that this will be in the third quarter of 2013. Due to the fact that trial devices are expected to be developed in the very near future has lead many to believe that there will be an early release, however the reason behind this is so that Apple can sort out any problems that may occur prior to its launch. This should avoid the iPhone 5S having the same quality control issues that effected the iPhone 5 launch and left many consumer facing shipment delays for their device.
We can expect the iPhone 5 to dominate the market for some time yet, but it is likely that we will see increased speculation regarding the launch of the next generation of the device whic loos certain to include a powerful new chipset
