Samsung Claims To Have Won 27 Awards At CES 2013

According to Sammy Hub, Samsung has confirmed that it has won 27 awards that the upcoming CES 2013 event which will be held in January in Las Vegas.  The consumer electronics show is a prominent date in the technology calendar, showcasing the best in TVs, cameras, appliances, smartphones and tablets etc.

 

As you may have guessed, Samsung has won at least one award for its bestselling Galaxy S3 smartphone.  This device continues to be one of the best selling smartphone models on the market, and quickly gained the spotlight after it sold its first 20 million units in just 100 days after its launch back in May.  This device has also cemented Samsung’s position as the number one mobile phone manufacturer in the world, after sales of the Galaxy S3 beat those achieved by Apple’s iPhone line last month.

 

Another product which Samsung will be picking up an award for is the Galaxy Note 10.1.  This is a 10.1 inch Android powered tablet, which offers a compelling alternatives to Apple’s iPad range.  It utilises many of the features of last year’s wildly popular Galaxy Note phablet, which was followed up this year by the Galaxy Note 2 which has been another success story for Samsung this year.  At this stage, we do not know the exact awards which Samsung will be claiming for these devices, but this will be confirmed when the event commences in January. The CES event  is always a high profile event in the electronics calendar, especially in terms of its smartphone and tablet offerings.  We regularly see smartphone manufacturers unveiling new products for release of the year ahead, so smartphone enthusiasts always get excited about this event.  One of the most eagerly anticipated unveilings set to take place is for a mystery Sony smartphone, which the company has said will be a direct rival to the likes of the Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3.
