The vibrant red edition of the new Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 smart phone has now been released in the UK, joining the black and white editions of Nokia’s latest flagship phone the Lumia 920 red now has contract deals on Orange and T-Mobile as well as the brand new 4G network EE.
This blazing red colour scheme of the Nokia Lumia 920 has already been made available as a free phone on pay monthly contract deals from £41 per month, however you’ll have to pay an upfront price if you’re looking to connect Nokia’s pocket rocket to the new super-fast 4G EE network.
The cheapest deal on EE is at £36 line rental with the Nokia Lumia 920 red edition costing £139.99 upfront, on a higher EE tariff at £51 per month this drops to £19.99, these new 4G packages are pretty simple to work with, all of them include unlimited minutes of calls and text messages leaving you to simply decide how much data you need each month.
A word of warning though: With the new faster 4G speeds of up to 100Mbps you may find you end up downloading and streaming a whole lot more content so it might be an idea to include more data than you usually use on a standard 3G network.
The new Lumia 920 is Nokia’s most advanced smart phone so far, boasting a 4.5 inch PureMotion HD+ touch screen, an 8.7 mega pixel camera, the new WP 8 operating system all ru by a fast dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.
New features include wireless charging and City Lens and Nokia have allowed for 32GB of internal storage plus an extra 7GB thanks to SkyDrive Cloud storage.
For those liking the new Windows Phone 8 software with its ‘Live Tiles’ home screen set-up but maybe not the price of this flagship Nokia model there’s the slightly cheaper and smaller Nokia Lumia 820 which is just as funky but with scaled back features for a cheaper price tag.
