The new Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE edition which is also known as the Samsung i9305 Titanium Grey (not the original i9300 Galaxy SIII) has now been made available on 4G contract deals in the UK thanks to the official launch of the new EE 4G network.
Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE 4G deals offer unlimited minutes and text on every tariff, all you have to do is choose how much data you need and whether you want to use your inclusive minutes & text abroad by opting for a ‘roaming’ package, the cheapest line rental currently offered for the LTE Galaxy S3 is £36 per month which includes 500MB of data but the phone costs a high £149.99 up front.
Classed as an average usage amount, 500MB might not be enough for normal users of the new 4G network with such fast access as videos, music and films download so much faster it is likely that you’ll end up eating through far more data than you would on a standard 3G network.
The next tariff up includes 1GB of data at £41 per month and the phones price drop by £10 to £49.99 whilst more expensive Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE deals are at £46, £51 and £56 per month with the latter packing in 8GB of allocated monthly data usage!
If you’re wondering what the differences are between this i9305 model and the 3G Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 then the main two are double the RAM at 2GB and this edition comes with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software already installed, it’s available in this grey colouring as well as marble white.
You’ll have noticed from these prices that 4G does come with a price tag over the older 3G networks deals, EE say that you can expect speeds of up to 5 times faster with up to 100Mbps available to users of their ‘super-fast’ service, if you’re looking to be an early adopter of 4G in the UK then there’s a whole host of phones now available, however we fully expect that once the other networks gain their 4G licences that the increased competition should bring price down.
