Samsung boast a stunning range of mobile smartphones and the most popular is the new S3 handset which we saw released earlier in the summer. Recently a new Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE version has been released in the UK, enabling users to connect to the forthcoming 4G networks which offer super fast data transfer speeds. The good news for owners of this phone is that an Android update should be available before the month is out.
Samsung have not been the quickest at rolling out this new update which will upgrade the software on the Galaxy S3 LTE to the new Jelly Bean version but it seems as though the long wait may nearly be over in the UK. Back in September Polish consumers were able to download the package but other European countries did not follow to closely behind. Sweden were next in line earlier in October and now it seems a host of other regions, including the UK, are about to say hello to Jelly Bean. One advantage of such a drawn out release is that developers have had ample opportunity to correct any bugs and issues that will have inevitably popped up when the Polish version was released.
The news of the new Jelly Bean software arriving in the UK will delight consumers who own a Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE or indeed the standard Samsung Galaxy S3 device. The news first broke via Samsung’s own Facebook page where it was said that UK users can expect an update before the month is out. The news is not so great for US consumers however. Samsung normally roll out updates for this region last and with no confirmed dates at present it means that users in the States are likely to have to wait a few more weeks before they can get their hands on the package. The Galaxy S3 LTE boasts the same specification as the standard Galaxy S3 but offers connectivity to new 4G LTE networks so faster browsing speeds can be achieved.
A new Android update is always a big occasion for consumers with phones running on this platform so news of this latest one will be welcomed with open arms by consumers. Some super Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE Offers are available now.
