The Nokia Lumia 920-Reasons Behind The Delayed Launch

Eager fans of the Windows Mobile operating system are keen to get their hands on the new Nokia Lumia 920, the premium new handset from the Finnish manufacturers. Unfortunately we still have no official launch date for this new model which will boast the excellent version 8.0 of the popular operating system.

Early reports suggested that the new Nokia Lumia 920 may be on the market before the end of October but as the end of the month gets ever nearer it does seem unlikely. A range of newer launch dates are being circulated which range from the early part of November to mid December. In light of the uncertainty surrounding the release date no company’s have begun to take pre orders for the model. This will disappoint Nokia as the phone is one of the major releases of the year and thousands of consumers are keen to get their hands on it. In the United Stares reports suggest that pre orders for the device will begin on 21st of October so we should expect news on the UK situation very soon.

The late release of the new Nokia Lumia 920 has started rumours that Nokia may have actually delayed the launch of the new model. An obvious reason would be because the date of the Windows 8 OS launch as it would be impossible to launch a phone using this platform prior to it actually being released. Another reason behind the late release could simply be that Nokia are running final software tests to ensure that the phone delivers the best performance possible to consumers and avoid the problems that have clouded the launch of the iPhone 5. Or it could simply be some clever marketing with the company keen to build up the hype that surrounds the model prior to its release.

We expect release date news and Nokia Lumia 920 Offers to be announced very soon so keep your eyes peeled and we will deliver the latest information as it happens.
