This year we have seen some major smartphones released by major players in the market such as Samsung, Apple and HTC. The HTC One X is one of the leading Android handsets around but it seems that the manufacturers are not content to just sit back and see how this model fairs as they have a new, updated version ready to join their range in the shape of the HTC One X+.
Despite the original One X phone still boasting great specification that rivals the majority of phones that are available the new HTC One X+ raises the bar even further. A number of key areas on the phone have been updated but one of the big attractions for many consumers is that the phone will come loaded with the Android Jelly Bean software which offers a number of new features and improved performance. Reports are suggesting that this exciting new model may be released on the 22nd of October which is perfect timing with the busy festive period closing in. Although no HTC One X+ Contracts have been announced the model will sell for around £474 SIM free.
The introduction of the new HTC One X+ will enable HTC to compete well against other best selling models such as the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3. One look at the specification of this new phone and there is no doubt that this is a premium phone of the highest order. The model will feature a new Nvidia chipset incorporating a powerful 1.7Ghz processor and this powerful chip combined with the efficient new software should ensure that the phone is one of the fastest available. Connectivity speeds will also be enhanced by the fact the phone can also connect to 4G networks which offer far superior data transfer speeds to 3G.
HTC look set to enjoy great success with the new HTC One X+ a premium new model more than capable of holding its own against some of the more well known handsets that are currently available such as the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3.
