Amber Brown joins the Titanium Grey & Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S3 Colour Range

The Samsung Galaxy S3 has now been released in a new Amber Brown colour scheme, following launches in Pebble Blue and Marble White when Samsung’s new ‘super-phone’ was first released the Galaxy S3 then appeared in Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey.

The new Amber Brown Samsung Galaxy S3 offers the same features found in the original (non LTE) colour schemes and encases them in a very desirable ‘brushed metal’ effect brown housing, this includes that quad-core 1.4GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, the 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD display, an 8 mega pixel camera with enhanced imaging features and the Android 4.0 operating system.

The Galaxy S3 already has more colour options than the previous Samsung Galaxy S2 model which was only released in black, white and pink, voted ‘Phone of the Year’ 2012 the Galaxy SIII has now moved on further into the realms of 4G speed, currently available in Titanium Grey and Marble White the new Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE is 4G enabled and offers download speeds of up to 100Mbps but also has some differences to the original models.

Firstly, the LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 has a different model number, known as the i9305 rather than the previous i9300, the Galaxy SIII LTE also packs in double the RAM capacity at 2GB and also comes with the latest Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating software pre-installed.

That all said, the first 4G network to launch in the UK will not go live until the end of the month from EE (Everything Everywhere) which is the parent company of T-Mobile and Orange whilst Three Mobile will follow suit in September of 2013 and O2 & Vodafone are looking at a late spring launch at the earliest.

With its very fast quad-core processor and speedy 3.5G connections there’s no real rush to connect to a 4G network, but it is worth bearing in mind that the Galaxy S3 LTE is future proofed by supporting all of the 4G frequency bands whereas competitors like the iPhone 5 will only support one of them.

There’s one more rumoured colour scheme for the 3.5G edition of the phone, a Martian Pink Samsung Galaxy S3 has been announced in Korea and many are hoping it will make it to UK shores soon.
