Very soon we are set to welcome the latest version of the Windows Mobile OS and it looks set to help push the platform towards the heavyweights in the league such as Android and iOS. We are waiting for confirmation about the official UK release of this exciting new phone but we have a pretty good idea that consumers will be able to get their hands on the phone from early November Microsoft have announced that the desktop version of Windows 8 will be released on October 26th and one of the major attractions of this new version will be the way it works seamlessly across multiple platforms thanks to new coding principles. With this in mind Microsoft will be keen to launch the mobile version as close to the desktop version as possible and the Nokia Lumia 920 is set to be released at exactly the same time. News agency Reuters have also suggested that an early November launch is likely for this phone.

The new Nokia Lumia 920 looks set to compete with other leading handsets such as the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S3 and the new HTC 8Xwith some really impressive new features. The model will boast the largest ever Lumia screen at 4.5 inches and this will also boast the highest ever pixel density of 332 PPI, making it one of the leading devices for screen quality. Other stand out features on the phone are set to include a new dual core 1.5Ghz processor and a powerful 8.7 mega pixel still camera feature.
