Video leaks BB10 gesture – Blackberry London specs leaked as well

Blackberry 10 (BB10) handsets will not be making their debut until 2013, but it looks like we already have an idea on what RIM (Research In Motion) has in store for us. A video leaking the BB10 gesture have shown up on the internet. A separate leak shows the specs of the Blackberry London.

Specs of the Blackberry London have shown up at rapidberry.net. Leaked specs include a 4.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1,280×768 pixels, which is even higher compared to the iPhone 5. This is exactly the pixel count RIM announced on the first handset that would run their next-generation operating system. RIM also said that they would standardise the resolution on subsequent BB10 handsets to make it easier for developers to create apps for the platform.

The leaked specs also reveal an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. We know Blackberry 10 will come with enhanced camera tech. We hope these upcoming phones will be able to capture high-quality images.

BlackBerryItalia have reveled Blackberry 10’s gesture controls in videos. Blackberry gesture will be one of the main features on BB10-powered handsets. The videos show how gestures can be used to check on notifications or unlock the phone. This can be done by simply swiping from the bottom of the screen, for example. RIM believes that its Blackberry 10 software will help it get back in the game, after losing ground to the likes of Android handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple’s iPhone. However, it still remains to be seen if RIM will be able to pull it off.
