Microsoft has made it clear that current Windows Phone handsets will not be updated to its latest software Windows Phone 8. This will leave handsets such as the Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 stuck with the current OS version. If you’re looking for the Nokia hardware running Windows Phone 8, the rumoured Lumia 920 might just be the phone you’ve been looking for.
The Lumia 920 is rumoured to sport a 4.5-inch HD AMOLED display (likely 720p) with Clear Black technology, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a camera sporting PureView technology. It is said to run Windows Phone 8, which brings a range of enhancements such as a more versatile homescreen and improved hardware support.
The Lumia 920 is expected to make an appearance at Nokia’s event this September.
