For all of those who prefer a black finish to their pride and joy there could finally be an alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S3 pebble blue and marble white on the horizon, pictures found on Samsung’s own Facebook page show a black edition of the Galaxy SIII alongside the popular white version hinting that a darker hue of this Android super-phone could be on its way soon.
Many existing Samsung users were a little gutted that they would have to opt for a ‘coloured’ version of the new Samsung S3 when upgrading from the S2 which was available in black, white and pink colour schemes, it now looks like those that waited it out might just get what they want.
We half expected the Orange network to release a black version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 as a network exclusive as this is their trademark colour when securing exclusive handset releases, however the UK market has only ever seen the ‘natural’ colour schemes of the phone leaving many a little disappointed.
The only other alternative colour schemes come in the form of the limited edition Team GB Samsung Galaxy S3 which is available in both blue and white with the union jack on the back of the blue version and the Team GB logo on the white.
Both of these exclusive handsets have the official Samsung logo alongside the Olympic rings stamped on the their reverse as well.
