O2 Deals Released for Sony Xperia S from Free
The brand new Sony Xperia S now has a range of contract deals available on O2 in the UK, this latest Android powered smart phone is the first to be branded only with the Sony name and the Xperia S offers some of the manufacturers most advanced technology to date.
Sony Xperia S deals are now available on O2 and offer a free phone from just £21.50 per month on the O2 100 tariff, this provides 100 minutes of calls to other mobile networks and landlines, 500 text messages and a healthy 500MB of data which this Android phone will need to perform at its best.

Although the design follows a similar format to many new touch screen phones, Sony have include some really nice aspects which include a transparent strip running through the lower quarter of the handset which illuminates when incoming calls, SMS and notifications are received.
Running on an industry leading 1.5GHz dual core processor which is only matched by that of the HTC Sensation XE, the Sony Xperia S offers a 12 mega pixel camera with their Exmor-R technology for super sharp pictures and full 1080p HD video capture, this can also be played back in HD on the 4.3 inch, 720 x 1280 pixel touch screen with BRAVIA engine graphics.
Also on board is Wi-Fi, fast 3.5G support, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS with turn by turn navigation, the Xperia S also uses ‘Smart Tags’ with its NFC technology which can be left in locations and programmed to adjust the phone as it picks them up, this could be just inside a front door to turn of the phones GPS and 3G or in the office to silence the phone when entering the room.
Shipped with Android 2.3 the Xperia S will get an update to the new Android 4.0 which is only available currently on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in Q2 of 2012, it will also be available in a white edition exclusive to the 4 U Group.
