Leaked Blackberry London shows off brand new look
Another leak of the rumored Blackberry London has surfaced on the internet. However, these shots are different. This new leak shows the handset’s brand new look.
The image comes to us courtesy of CrackBerry. The image seems to be a press shot of RIM’s rumored superphone, running the company’s next generation software the Blackberry 10. RIM hopes this new OS will bring the ailing Canadian phone manufacturer back in the game.
In November of last year, the London was leaked sporting a chrome finish and angled edges. Now, it seems RIM has changed the overall design of its upcoming superphone. The new design sports a sleek new look, which reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy S2 or the iPhone 4S.
The handset doesn’t seem to have any physical buttons found below the display just like the 9860 Torch. Other than its all touch interface, the handset is said to sport an 8 megapixel camera and pack a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor under the hood.
RIM went through a disastrous 2011. It’s got a lot riding on the Blackberry 10 and London. Hopefully, it’s not too late to turn the tides in RIM’s favor.
So when do we get to see RIM’s new superphone? Former co-CEO, Mike Lazaridis said back in December that delays have plagued Blackberry 10-powered handsets. This means that we might get to see RIM’s superphones towards the end of 2012.
Do you think the Blackberry London running Blackberry 10 will allow RIM to get back in the game, or do you think RIM is doomed? Give us your thoughts.
