HTC Ville leaked in video before MWC

It looks like the HTC Ville has been leaked in a video before its expected unveiling at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.

HTC Hub posted the video showing the handset’s slim profile with Sense 4.0 and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) onboard. Unfortunately, the video has now been set to private, but at least we have photos showing the phone in action.

So what’s the difference? Sense 4.0 has new screen transition animations, an enhanced shortcut bar found on the homescreen, widgets have been designed simpler compared to the over-the-top designs in the past.

In terms of looks, the Ville borrows design elements from the HTC Desire and the HTC Sensation. It sports a unibody styling found on other HTC handsets.

According to HTC Hub, the Ville is likely to sport a 4.3 inch QHD display, an 8 megapixel camera, and a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. However, the website notes that since this is a prototype, we might see a number of changes once it’s officially unveiled at MWC.

Aside from the dual-core HTC Ville, the Taiwanese phone giant is also expected to unveil its quad-core superphone the HTC Edge.
