Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6 to be unveiled at MWC?

According to a rumor, the Korean tech giant Samsung is planning to launch a bigger and more powerful successor of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, an 11.6 inch Galaxy Tab, which packs a 2 GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor under the hood.

The news comes to us courtesy of Androidandme, who claims to have seen the 11.6 Samsung tablet around CES. The site also claims that tablet was running Ice Cream Sandwich and its 11.6 inch display has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels.

According the Tabtech, a German site, an 11.6 inch Galaxy Tab will make an appearance towards the end of February. It looks like Samsung likes putting large displays on devices. It first put a 5.3 inch display on a smartphone, the Galaxy Note. Now, it is said to put a massive display on a tablet.

The rumored 11.6 inch Galaxy Tab is likely to be officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February. Also expected to make an appearance at the tech show is the Galaxy S3. However, it looks like the Korean tech giant is undecided if it wants to unveil the S3 alongside other handsets or on its own show, just like Apple did with its iPhone 4S.
