US T-Mobile to carry rumored HTC Ville?
HTC started strong in the first half of 2011, but seemed to slow significantly down in last year’s second half. Shoppers were more attracted to the Samsung Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4S compared to HTC products such as the Sensation XL. Hopefully, this trend will change with rumored handsets such as the HTC Ville.
According to PocketNow, the Ville will be carried by US network operator T-Mobile. Sadly, we are yet to hear anything to suggest if the smartphone is heading towards the UK. However, the smartphone is expected to make an appearance at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in February.
The rumored handset comes with impressive specs. It sports a 4.3 inch display and packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor under the hood. Aside from its powerful hardware, the HTC Ville ships running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
The Taiwanese phone manufacturer is also said to launch HTC Family, a private messaging service. The service is said to family or close friends to exchange private messages between each other. Other features include calendar synchronization and location tracking.
There are also a number of new services rumored to be unveiled. These are HTC Read, an eBook store, and HTC Play, a marketplace for games.
Excited to know more about the HTC Ville? We’ll keep you posted once we know more.
