This latest Prada phone is not just an upgrade to the previous LG KE850 Prada but a complete rework and rather than being just another feature phone is actually one of the most advanced smart phones currently available, features such as a dual core 1GHz dual processor with dual channel technology for super fast management also found in the LG Optimus 3D, an 8 mega pixel camera which can record 1080p HD video competes well with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC Sensation XE and a large 4.3 inch AMOLED touch screen utilising LG’s NOVA technology first launched in the LG Optimus Black for deep blacks and easily readable in direct sunlight make the new LG Prada 3 a very desirable handset.
Sold with the Android 2.3 gingerbread operating system installed, LG have promised an upgrade to the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich currently only found on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be made available, the usual Android features are obviously pre-installed including Wi-Fi access, 3.5G support, Bluetooth and GPS with satellite navigation plus access to the ever expanding Android market which now offers over half a million applications for download.
The Prada by LG 3.0 is also extremely thin considering the sheer amount of technology inside, at 8.5mm it is one of the thinnest smart phones available and with some clever casing design by Prada it actually looks even thinner up close, there is a Prada Saffiano pattern on the back panel of the phone which is only joined by the lens for the camera and the brands logo making for a very minimalistic look.
