Three first to confirm selling Nokia Lumia 710 soon

Have you been waiting for news on Nokia’s budget Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 710? Three is the first network operator to confirm that they will be selling the entry-level handset soon.

The Finnish firm launched its first Windows Phone, the Lumia 800, in the hopes of better competing with Android and iOS handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Apple iPhone 4S. With the coming of the Lumia 710, Nokia plans to further gain much needed market shares.

The Lumia 710 comes with a 3.7 inch display, sports a 5 megapixel camera, and packs a 1.4 GHz single-core processor under the hood. Since the handset runs Windows Phone Mango, you can download your apps from the Windows Phone Marketplace, which now boasts 50,000 apps in its app offering.

Although the competition offers more apps and cutting-edge specs, Microsoft promises to further enhance its user experience. With its highly customizable tile-based interface, it is quickly catching the attention of more and more users.

Unfortunately, Three hasn’t announced specifically when the phone will be arriving in the UK or how much it will set you back. All we know is it’s going to be cheaper, and it is in the horizon.

Interested in getting your hands on the Nokia Lumia 710? We’ll keep you posted once we know more.
