Blackberry Bold 9790 Joins the Bold 9900, Curve 9380 & 9360 on Orange

The latest addition to the Blackberry Bold range has now been released on the Orange network in the UK, the new Blackberry Bold 9790 now has contract deals available on Orange after initially being released with O2 offers in the latter part of last week and joins the recently released Blackberry Bold 9900, Curve 9360 and 9380 smart phones on the network.

Blackberry Bold 9790 deals on Orange start off with slightly cheaper line rental charges than O2 at £15.50 and to pick up free Blackberry 9790 offers you’ll only need to opt for a £20.50 contract deal rather than the cheapest O2 package at £21.50, this includes 200 minutes of calls which you can use at any time to call any network which includes landlines, unlimited SMS and 100MB of inclusive data every month.

The new Blackberry Bold 9790 is a direct upgrade to the popular Blackberry 9780, improvements include the addition of a touch screen above the qwerty keypad, a much faster processor at 1GHz and an expanded internal flash memory which is now 8GB, the overall look of the phone does not change drastically from the previous model with four physical buttons and the handy touch pad situated on the front of the phone.

On the reverse you’ll find a 5.0 mega pixel camera and on the inside is support for 3.5G networks, Wi-Fi, GPS with Blackberry Maps and the latest Blackberry 7 operating system which is now present in all new Blackberry smart phones including the recently released Blackberry Curve 9380 and Curve 9360, Blackberry Bold 9900 and Blackberry Torch 9860 and Torch 9810.

Although only currently available in black we expect this latest Bold series phone to follow suit with the previous 9780 model as well as the top end Bold 9900 with the launch of at least a white edition and maybe more colour schemes later.
