Nokia Lumia Contract Deals Now on Vodafone – Nokia Lumia 800 Black
The first black edition of the Nokia Lumia 800 has now been released on Vodafone contract deals alongside O2, Orange and T-Mobile offers, this first Windows Mango Nokia Lumia phone is set to be joined by both magenta pink and cyan blue colour schemes very soon.

As previously mentioned, this is the first Windows 7.5 Mango powered Nokia phone to be released and offers a very different and modern way of using a smart phone. The main home screen of the Nokia Lumia can be controlled with ‘Tiles’ which can be set to show different regularly updated information such as incoming social network updates, emails, text messages, news and weather forecasts.
Looking very similar in style to the recently launched Nokia N9, the new Lumia 800 has the same tapered edges and square corners but adds in three buttons for navigational purposes underneath its 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen display, on the reverse is an 8 mega pixel camera with HD video support, Carl Ziess optics and LED flash, aside from this the external casing has been left to a stylish, minimalistic design.
On the inside the Nokia Lumia 800 is run by a 1.4GHz processor and offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5G network support and USB connectivity, there is also GPS with a new and unique Nokia satellite navigation program called Nokia Drive which allows you to download maps before starting off on your journey which means no 3G data is needed en route.
Going up against other mid range smart phones like the Windows based HTC Radar, Android powered HTC Rhyme, HTC Desire S, Samsung Galaxy R and Blackberry Curve 9360 the Nokia Lumia feels and acts far more like a modern day phone with the ‘Live Tiles’ constantly updating and the fresh feel of the interface seems a lot more fluid.
