iPhone 5 was Steve Jobs final hurrah

Do you think the iPhone 4S was the late Steve Jobs’ last project? According to an analyst, this wasn’t the case. The iPhone 5 was the legendary CEO’s final masterpiece.

Accruing to a Rodman & Renshaw analyst, Ashok Kumar, the 5th generation iPhone “was the last project that Steve Jobs was intimately involved with from concept to final design.”

The analyst believes that the smartphone will impact Apple’s enthusiasts like never before. It will be a “cult classic” for it was the last project the former CEO was intimately involved in designing.

According to CNET’s anonymous source, “This is a very large project that Steve dedicated all of his time to. He was not that involved in the 4S because his time was limited.”

According to Kumar’s research note, the iPhone 5 would be similar to the iPhone 4 in terms of size. However, it will sport a larger touchscreen and support 4G. The analyst added that the new smartphone is likely to launch on the Apple Developer’s Conference, which will take place in the summer of 2012.
