Another iPhone 5 case show different design compared to the iPhone 4
It has definitely been a rollercoaster ride when it comes to the conflicting rumors surrounding Apples 5th generation iPhone. Some claim that the iPhone 5 will be a splitting-image of the iPhone 4; some claim that Apple’s ne smartphone will sport a slimmer profile and tapered back. Looking at new amateur shots within a US AT&T store, the phone will be different compared to its predecessor.
From the looks of these cases, previous rumors claiming that the iPhone 5 will be almost identical to the iPhone 4 were inaccurate. The cases do look like they were designed to hold a slimmer smartphone within. If these shots are accurate, then this is good news for Apple enthusiast.
Another rumors that these pictures seem to quash is that the next generation iPhone will be called the iPhone 4S. If you look closely at the label below the words “SILICONE SLEEVE APPLE”, the words “IPHONE 5” can be found below. This points out that Apple’s new phone will be called the “iPhone 5” instead of the “iPhone 4S”.
Of course, this still doesn’t mean that the iPhone 4S does not exist. It is still possible that the said entry-level iOS-powered smartphone will be launched alongside Apple’s new flagship on the 4th of October. Anyway, we’ll get to know the real deal from the not on the 4th, which is a little bit over a day away.
