Mysterious source says next iPhone will come in 64 GB version
Will Apple’s next iPhone come in a 64 GB version? 9to5Mac seems to think so. According to its mysterious source, Mr. X, Apple’s new iPhone will be available in three various storage capacities, namely 16, 32, and 64 GB variants, which is the same options available to the iPad 2.
We have heard reports that Apple will be releasing an 8 GB entry-level handset. However, why would anyone want to get an 8 GB iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, or iPhone 5? Currently, Apple sells 64 GB versions of the iPad 2 and the iPod touch. It would make more sense for them to make a 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB versions of their next generation iPhone.
It’s looking pretty good for the iPhone 5/4S. According to rumors, the 5th generation iPhone will sport a 4.3 inch touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera, a tapered design, and the dual-core A5 chip. Although these are all considered to be rumors, we’ll get to see which rumors were accurate and which were false on the 4th of October, which is just a few days away.
Do you think the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S will be available in a 64 GB version? Give us your thoughts.
