HTC Launch Desktop Dock for HTC EVO 3D
Only a couple of weeks now before it’s official UK release date, the HTC Evo 3D is already having accessories manufactured ready for its release and the latest to be launched is HTC’s official Micro USB Desktop Docking Station.
Positioning your HTC Evo 3D at the perfect angle for viewing those 3D videos, this new desktop dock offers a minimalistic design and is MHL adaptor compatible so you could even link up with your computer monitor or 3D /HD TV.
Finished in a matt black, this desktop docking station will allow you to sync your HTC Evo 3D phone with your laptop or PC/Mac and manage things like your phonebook, videos, pictures and other useful features.
Listed by BestBuy in the US and retailing at $49.99 this snazzy little accessory should hit UK shores around the time of release of the phone which is scheduled for July 11th.
The HTC Evo 3D utilises a 1.2 GHz dual core processor as its central processing unit, coupled with the gingerbread version of the android operating system, version 2.3.
The phones display screen is 4.3 inches in size and is a 3D S-LCD capacitive display screen that combines touch screen capability with exemplary colour reproduction, by virtue of the 16 million colours it is able to display within a 540 x 960 pixel screen resolution. Navigation is provided by the HTC sense user interface, in combination with a variety of touch sensitive controls, whilst accelerometer, proximity and gyro sensors are included as standard.
Connectivity is provided by a menagerie of options which include a micro-SD card slot which enables the user to enhance the available memory capacity of the unit, up to 32 GB. Additional connectivity is provided by the standard elements of blue tooth and micro-USB connectivity, as well as GPRS and EDGE. Internet access is available through either the Wi Fi connection or its own HSDPA connection which offers the means to access the net at an impressive speed of 14.4 MB per second.
The Evo 3D comes with 2 x 5.0 megapixel cameras that operates at 2560 x 1920 pixels and includes auto focus, geo-tagging as well as a dual LED flash. The same camera can also be utilised to take stereoscopic photos, at 2.0 megapixels, as well as taking video at 1080 pixels and at 24 frames per second for 2-D versions or at 720 pixels and at 30 frames per second 3-D options. A secondary 1.3 megapixel camera is provided as standard. The phone also comes with an MP4/MP3 multimedia player, stereo FM radio, satellite navigation, an array of Google related features as well as Facebook, Flickr and twitter applications
