If you want a stylish aluminium smartphone with front and rear-facing cameras, plus a fast processor, choose the HTC Desire S in stylish red.

The Red HTC Desire S boasts a slim and stylish design shaped from a single piece of aluminium, making it feel more solid than the HTC Desire – and lighter too. And the Desire S red has an impressive 3.7″ touchscreen that’s perfect for showing off photos, enjoying video clips and making everything on the web look clear.

With video calling getting more and more popular, you’ll love that the HTC Desire S has a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front – so the person you’re video calling can see you. It’s a feature you won’t find on the original HTC Desire.

The Desire S’s 5-megapixel camera round the back has auto-focus and an LED flash. So you can expect great photos whatever the lighting conditions. The camera can also shoot HD video with full SRS surround sound – making your video clips look and sound amazing.

The Desire S has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor inside – just like the Samsung Galaxy S and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc So you’ll find it’s fast to access menus, run apps and browse in the areas with a good connection. And you won’t be short of storage for all of your music, photos and videos either. You’ll find 1GB of memory built in to the HTC Desire S – plus an 8GB microSD card in the box.

Just like on the HTC Sensation and Samsung Galaxy S2 the HTC Desire S is powered by Android’s latest smartphone operating system – known as Gingerbread. It’s easy to use, quick to learn and uses less battery life. Gingerbread also makes typing on a touchscreen simple, so you can send texts and emails quickly. And because Android is from Google, it works well with Gmail, Google Maps and more.
