Pink Nokia N8 Price & Release Date Confirmed
The new Nokia N8 in Pink announced this week has now been given a confirmed release date and price in the UK, sporting a new, bright pink casing this new Nokia N8 colour scheme packs in the same great features as the other models in the N8 range but with some new additions to its display plus the new Symbian operating system.
The pink Nokia N8 release date has been set as Thursday 12th May 2011 when it will join the current black, blue, green, silver and orange Nokia N8 models, it’s initial SIM free price has been confirmed as £395 which is around £20-£25 more than the other colour schemes but there’s a very good reason for this (and it will drop after release).
The Nokia N8 Pink edition will come complete with the new Symbian Anna OS pre-installed, this is something that may get the back up of those who already own a Nokia N8 as they wait patiently for a software update.

This new pink Nokia phone will also be available with pay monthly contract deals via The Phones4U Group which includes Dialaphone, there’s no confirmation of which network the retailer will launch the handset on as yet but we suspect it will eventually be available on Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile and O2 over the coming weeks.
Aimed at women who love all things fashionable the pink Nokia N8 also includes the Elle Fashion App as well as the Neon Pink Clock and Little Pink Diva theme for brightening up those menus and home screen, the rest of the features remain in tact which means the pink edition will be one of the most advanced pink phones released to date.
Sporting its 12 mega pixel camera with HD video recording capabilities, Carl Ziess optics and an HDMI out port for connecting to an HD TV the Nokia N8 in pink is the only pink phone on the market to offer such high quality photography.
With its smooth lines and new pink fascia this latest pink Nokia N8 will slip easily into an evening bag or pocket for a night out which can be captured every step of the way for uploading to Facebook or sharing with friends on the big screen.
