New Silver HTC Desire S Joins Original Black Desire S
The first colour variant of the recently released HTC Desire S has now been made available as a SIM free phone, upgrading the previous HTC Desire the new Desire S was first launched in its black colour scheme on March 10th but now there’s a new sleek silver edition to compliment the range.
The Silver HTC Desire S encases the same new features and design of the black Desire S in its new silver housing, still manufactured from a single piece of aluminium this latest model is just as robust but lightweight with a new finish which although is not the bright silver of other HTC models still gives a sparkle to this latest Android phone.

The rear of the HTC Desire S Silver is not finished entirely in its new colour but the actual housing is, this means the entire of the front of the phone now has a new look whilst the openings in the back are the same black colour as the original Desire S model giving a nice bit of contrast.
The HTC Desire S is the new reincarnation of the HTC Desire which won 2010′s ‘Phone of the Year’ award, with so much to live up to the Desire S has been stacked full of features including a new front facing camera for video calls, the removal of the exterior buttons and track pad for a sleeker look, upgraded RAM to 768MB and internal memory to a substantial 1.1GB and the latest Android operating system; Gingerbread.
This is the very latest version of the Android OS and with HTC’s Sense user interface offers a far smoother operation of the phone plus less battery drain when running multiple apps, HTC have also tinkered with the upload and download speeds of the Desire S and Wi-Fi has also been upgraded with DLNA for wireless connections to home entertainment.
The new one piece manufacture means that the Desire S has lost 5g in weight and shaved its overall dimensions to 115 x 59.8 x 11.6mm whilst still sporting the same great 3.7 inch display of the original Desire handset.
