LG’s first dual core processor smart phone is also the world’s first and sets a path for other manufacturers to now follow, the new dual core mobile technology means much faster speeds and smoother operation of advanced applications and user experience and LG’s rivals are gearing up for their own model launches very soon.
The LG Optimus 2X is already available on both Orange and Vodafone pay monthly deals but today T-Mobile is the third network to release contract tariffs for this latest LG phone, the biggest benefit over rival networks is T-Mobile’s data allowance which is as much as 1GB on selected deals which the LG Optimus 2X can take full advantage of.
The new dual core technology featured in the Optimus 2X is clocked at 1GHz which produces a powerful desktop experience on a phone that still fits nicely in the pocket, there’s also a 4 inch touch screen display and an 8 mega pixel camera which will record video in full HD 1080p format.
Add to this the latest Android operating system with an abundance of Google services and thousands of downloadable applications from the Android Market, an HDMi port for linking directly to an HD ready TV for showing your video clips to friends and family, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and GPS with Google’s Sat Nav turn by turn navigation and you’ve got one powerful smart phone that covers just about every area of day to day mobile life.
