It had to happen, didn’t it? A commemorative mobile phone for the wedding of the year? Well, it’s been manufactured by Alcatel and although not a high specification handset it may well be a great addition to any royal enthusiasts pocket on Kate and Will’s big day.
The Royal Wedding phone which is otherwise known as the Alcatel OT 209 Royal has now been released on O2 deals exclusively by the CPW Group, the phone is free on every single tariff and features a very patriotic Union Jack design on its front casing and a lovely etching of the couples initials on the reverse with the date of the wedding inscribed beneath on a red housing.

Extra little features that are exclusive to the Royal Wedding phone include a screensaver of the happy couple as well as a pre-programmed ‘God Save the Queen’ and joyous ‘Wedding March’ by Mendelssohn ringtones.
One of the more useful features of the Alcatel 209 Royal Wedding phone is the inclusion of a torch, very handy for finding your front door after the celebrations! Other features include an FM Radio, calculator and digital organiser.
If you’re not jumping on the bandwagon of the Royal wedding then this affordable little phone is also available in two other colour schemes; the Alcatel 209 black and silver editions.
