Black & White Motorola DEFY Now on Orange Deals
The new Black and White colour scheme of the Motorola DEFY has now been released on Orange deals, first made available just yesterday on O2 deals there are now double the number of pay monthly tariffs to choose from.
Motorola DEFY White deals on Orange will set you back from between £15.32 and £45.96 with nearly 100 different tariffs to choose from, however you can pick up a free Black and White Motorola Defy from just £20.42 on three deals with the pick of them being the Orange Dolphin 20 tariff which includes 250MB of data allowance, 100 minutes and unlimited SMS every month.
The new Defy in black and white is unrecognisable to the original black edition from the front, it’s only when you turn the phone to the side and reverse that you find the new white accents that give the new style to this funky, toughened Android phone.
The Motorola Defy features Android 2.1 as does the HTC Desire and also offers a 5 megapixel camera for video recording and photo capture in the same way. The handset has a compact touch tablet design featuring onscreen QWERTY keyboard for text input and simple touch controls.
This new Motorola phone has the Android HTML Webkit which offers full HTML web pages to be loaded and viewed on the 3.7 inch WVGA touch display, as well as the presence of Flash Lite 3 allowing Flash web applications to be viewed on the phone also. As well as the QWERTY keyboard onscreen for data input, the handset does have dedicated back, home screen, menu and search physical keys for fast movement around the Motoblur user interface placed on the Android 2.1 operating system which includes Android Market letting you download more apps to the phone all the time, and also enables multitasking functionality. This follows other handsets such as the HTC Desire which also featured the 2.1 operating system.
The Defy has a 5 megapixel camera with digital zoom and auto focus along with an LED flash to enhance light in poor conditions and create a perfect photo first time. The camera is great for both photo and video recording and produces a clear picture with the 5 megapixel resolution, the same as the HTC Desire and many other handsets currently available.
With the integrated social networking available also, it is possible for you to instantly share your multimedia and captured media with friends through services such as Facebook and Twitter. Connectivity meanwhile includes Bluetooth 2.1 with enhanced data rate also the same as the Desire, as is the microUSB connector for fast file sharing and syncing to a computer.
The phone also has an aGPS receiver which allows for automatic Geotagging of videos and photos captured with the camera for easy location referencing as well as date reference when collating them together or finding them to view. Other location based services include Google Maps for directions and onscreen maps with points of interest and more, and also Google Navigation providing further turn by turn navigation too.
The Motorola Defy is a compact touch tablet device with a powerful operating system coupled with an intuitive user interface in Motoblur. Offering similar features to the HTC Desire including the 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, the handset also provides comprehensive location based services including navigation form A to B.
