Nokia C5-03 Release Date & Price
The new Nokia C5-03 is a direct upgrade to the popular Nokia 5 Series range and has now been given a confirmed release date and price as a SIM free and unlocked mobile phone.
The Nokia C5-03 is to be released in 6 different colour schemes but this release date is for the first black edition with the Nokia C5-03 White, Green, Blue, Lilac and Silver models to follow shortly afterwards.
You’ll be able to get your hands on a SIM free Nokia C5-03 as of January 31st and the phone will be unlocked to all networks so that you can choose your own SIM card, the initial release price is set at £159.99 although we expect this to be slightly reduced as other retailers receive their stock.

The Nokia C5-03 is a truly revolutionary and innovative mobile phone which comprises of smart phone technology coupled with an aesthetic appeal and style that belies its usefulness. The C5-03 is compact and lightweight, whilst providing within its body, a range of useful technology that empowers its user.
One of the key elements is its impressive 3.2 inch TFT touch screen, which is resistive in nature and actively displays amazing imagery by virtue of the 16 million colours it is able to display, all within a 360 x 640 pixel resolution. Accelerometer and proximity sensors are provided as standard, whilst handwriting recognition is offered as an alternative means of data entry.
This new Nokia phone comes with a myriad of connectivity options which incorporates such delights as Internet access by virtue of its Wi Fi and extremely fast HSDPA connectivity, providing speeds of up to 10.2 Mbps, in addition to access to a wide variety of hotspots. Additional connectivity is provided by the micro USB and Bluetooth connections, both of which are version 2.0 within this handset, whilst a microSD card slot and GPRS and EDGE connections complete the connection options.
The handset comes with a 600 MHz processor, which provides its central processing capabilities, whilst version 9.4 of the Symbian operating system is provided. The unit also comes with a satellite navigation function, provided by the GPS feature, which utilises Nokia maps and comes with A-GPS support.
The Nokia C5-03 provides photographic capability by virtue of its 5.0 megapixel camera, the handset also comes with geo-tagging as standard whilst also providing video recording functionality at VGA quality and at 15 frames per second. The unit provides a variety of entertainment options which include an MP4 multimedia player, as well as an MP3 player, in addition to a stereo FM radio and a variety of downloadable and included games. The unit also comes with an organiser, photo editor as well as a voice command/dial facility and is available in graphite black, lime green as well as aluminium Grey and a Nokia C5-03 blue version.
