Samsung 525 Wave 2 Deals – Samsung S5250 Now on Virgin Mobile

The new Samsung Wave 2 which is known confusingly by two model numbers as the Samsung 525 and S5250 Wave 2 has now been released by Virgin Mobile, this new Samsung Wave phone was first launched on Pay As You Go before being made available as a SIM free phone more recently.

Samsung 525 Wave 2 deals on Virgin can be ordered for as little as just £10 per month which also includes a free Samsung Wave 2 phone, the tariff is called Virgin 10 + Internet and includes 50 minutes and 250 text plus 500MB of data or a second £10 tariff called simply Virgin 10 drops the data allowance in favour of double the number of minutes and text.

The Wave 2 from Samsung has also now been joined by another model from the same range which incorporates an extra slide out qwerty keyboard for those that like physical buttons when texting and emailing, known as the Samsung Wave 2 Pro this phone also runs on Samsung’s own Bada platform with very similar features.

These two new phones are part of a growing number of phones from Samsung to feature their own Bada operating system, other new releases include the Samsung Wave 723 which has just had a pink model released alongside its original black model as well as the original Samsung Wave which sits at the top of the tree in the Wave series.

The Samsung S5250 / 525 Wave 2 is a phone that provides an impressive array of technology, and is based on the Bada operating system that has be shown to be reliable. The new touch and slide Blackberry Torch has now been released on Virgin Mobile deals, this is the last of the UK mobile networks to launch this extremely popular Blackberry phone which is also available without contract deals as both a Pay As You Go and SIM free phone.

The Blackberry Torch has been available since August 2010. This phone is the first to combine the Blackberry keyboard with the touch screen of the previously Blackberry Storm. It also has a trackpad for navigating the UI, an upgraded camera and the Blackberry 6 operating system.

This Blackberry Torch has many “firsts.” It is the first Blackberry slider, the first Blackberry to offer a proper touch screen, the first Blackberry to have a 5-mega pixel camera and the first Blackberry with Blackberry 6 operating system. The Blackberry 6 OS has many new features, including the Webkit rendering engine.

The Torch measures up at 111mm x 62 mm x 14.6 when closed and is 148 mm instead of 111 mm when open.
