JCB Sitemaster Deals – New JCB Phone on Orange
One of three new JCB Tough phones has now been released on Orange deals, the JCB Sitemaster Toughphone joins the JCB Pro-Talk and JCB Tradesman from the manufacturers new range of rugged handsets.

JCB Sitemaster Tough Phone
The JCB Sitemaster is a tough phone that offers, as the name would suggest, a handset that will weather a wide range of conditions and situations. It is a compact unit that measures 115 mm x 53 mm wide whilst being 23 mm thick. It offers an impressive array of useful functionality, all of which are related to work-based situations.
The Sitemaster Toughphone provides a 2.0 inch TFT display screen which offers effervescent and vibrant imagery, by virtue of the 262,000 colours it is able to display within its screen. The unit comes with tri-band data network functionality whilst also offering GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz operating frequency options.
This new JCB handsets phonebook is able to retain up to 300 phone book entries, providing the means to access quickly and efficiently, a range of contacts. In addition the unit comes with Bluetooth 2.0, to provide connectivity as and when required. The unit FM radio provides the means to access a wide selection of available radio stations, from around the country.
The JCB Sitemaster is certified to IP54, which relates to water and dust resistance, whilst also having a military specification, in addition to a one Ton pressure tested capability. In fact this particular handset is tested, to ensure rugged and durable functionality in a variety of ways, including an LCD impact test, which is whereby a pressure of 0.5 Nm is applied to the screen to ensure that it can withstand the pressure. In addition the front and rear case are bent 5000 times, with a pressure applied of 250 Nm, as an effective twist test.
The handset also comes with a differing array of functionality including a useful torch as well as a laser pointer. Both of these features offer additional functionality, in addition to the SMS messaging functionality already provided with the unit. The handset comes with a 1300 mAh Li-ion battery, which is able to provide, under normal working conditions, a talk time of 270 minutes with a standby time of 450 hours.
The JCB Sitemaster Toughphone is impressive in many ways, offering as it does a variety of useful technology and functionality, encased within a tough and rugged exterior casing that is able to withstand an impressive range of situations.
